Samsung Soul is a dual-screen slider with HSDPA high-speed data and a digital camera 5 megapixels. The Soul is supposed to be the last Ultra serial device after launching Samsung U700, and Samsung SOUL say that means “Spirit of Ultra.”
The main navigation panel is actually a touch screen, where the buttons change depending on what the handset is doing. This “Magic Touch” is a real billboard assets, rather than the standard keys hidden, we have seen elsewhere.
It is a phone with 3.5G HSDPA download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. It has Bluetooth
, but no WiFi. The memory is expandable using microSD cards
, and the main screen is a 2.2 “240 x 320 pixels panel. La Soul Samsung is a device to 12.9mm thin enough depth. Ago an MP3 player and FM radio.
On the back is a five megapixel camera, which we understand has autofocus and flash. Samsung say that the soul is the camera image stabilization and face detection .. Remember that Samsung has also Empower digital cameras, so they have some expertise here.
An interesting feature is the Soul customizable themes, including one that deals with the handset of brushed metal look at the interface itself. Also, the characteristics Soul improved Bang & Olufsen audio for multimedia playback.
Samsung told us not having all the details of the Soul. Few things such as battery life, GSM / UMTS frequencies and same weight have been omitted. We do know that the soul is expected to be available from April 2008 in some markets, although no price was given.
