The calendar feature is an extension of Mobile Email Work’s existing access to business email accounts. Sprint worked with SEVEN to create Mobile Email Work, which now allows Instinct users to access work calendars from Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, 2003 or 2007 accounts, or IBM Lotus Domino accounts.

Mobile Email Work with corporate calendar synch includes monthly and daily views of the user’s calendar, along with an appointment view that displays the details about each appointment or meeting. Reminders bring upcoming appointments or meetings to the user’s attention. Reminders bring upcoming appointments or meetings to the user’s attention. Users can edit existing appointments, accept or decline meeting requests, or create new single-date, multi-date or all-day appointments. Users also can delete appointments and meetings. All changes made on the Sprint phone are automatically synchronized with the user’s desktop calendar.

For Instinct users, the corporate calendar feature will be provided as a software update to customers with Mobile Email Work. Customers who are new to Sprint Mobile Email and want to activate the service can do so directly through the email menu - no software download is required. Once email is activated, customers will be prompted to accept the upgrade to enable corporate calendar access.

In addition to the Samsung Instinct, Sprint plans to extend corporate calendar synch to additional non-PDA phones in the future.

Samsung announced the Ultra Edition II series mobile phones and the Ultra Edition 2 10.9 (aka U600) is only 10.9mm thick.

Samsung announced the Ultra Smart F520, a 3G multimedia‚this phone supporting HSDPA and EDGE.

The Samsuing F520 has a 3 Megapixel camera with Flash, a 3-inch 260k 480×272 LCD touch screen, integrated media player supporting MP3/AAC(+)/eAAC+/Real music MPEG4/H.263/H.264/Real video formats.

Other features include Bluetooth, USB, Flash UI, Document Viewer, Full HTML Browser and support for MicroSD memory card.

The Samsung SPH-P9000 comes with a 262,000 colors screen with a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The phone is extremely heavy at 560 grams, yes, that’s about 1lb! The Samsung 629 is spotted at a Chinese website. The rumor said that the Samsung 629 has dual-band functionality of GSM and CDMA, which means it is capable of running in both GSM and CDMA networks. It is kind a weird breed, if the Samsung 629 is capable of doing so. Besides that, the rumor also said that the phone features a 2.7-inch LCD Touchscreen that will produce a vibration when touched, an FM tuner, a built-in 3MP camera with video support.

Samsung SGH-U900

Samsung Soul is a dual-screen slider with HSDPA high-speed data and a digital camera 5 megapixels. The Soul is supposed to be the last Ultra serial device after launching Samsung U700, and Samsung SOUL say that means “Spirit of Ultra.”

The main navigation panel is actually a touch screen, where the buttons change depending on what the handset is doing. This “Magic Touch” is a real billboard assets, rather than the standard keys hidden, we have seen elsewhere.

It is a phone with 3.5G HSDPA download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. It has Bluetooth
, but no WiFi. The memory is expandable using microSD cards
, and the main screen is a 2.2 “240 x 320 pixels panel. La Soul Samsung is a device to 12.9mm thin enough depth. Ago an MP3 player and FM radio.

On the back is a five megapixel camera, which we understand has autofocus and flash. Samsung say that the soul is the camera image stabilization and face detection .. Remember that Samsung has also Empower digital cameras, so they have some expertise here.

An interesting feature is the Soul customizable themes, including one that deals with the handset of brushed metal look at the interface itself. Also, the characteristics Soul improved Bang & Olufsen audio for multimedia playback.



Samsung told us not having all the details of the Soul. Few things such as battery life, GSM / UMTS frequencies and same weight have been omitted. We do know that the soul is expected to be available from April 2008 in some markets, although no price was given.

The Samsung Ultra S8300 is a camera phone 8 megapixel camera phone.

he phone is a slider that is an anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint case makes it very tough. The camera 8 megapixel is complemented by a dual LED flash, autofocus and can capture video. The screen is 2.8 inch touch screen that gives you the ability to use the TouchWiz interface. The screen also has haptic feedback. An accelerometer is built to enable the automatic rotation of the screen when switching from portrait to landscape mode.

Connectivity of the phone can support 3G and HSDPA with speeds up to 7.2Mbps, where mobile phone networks can handle it. GPS can also be found inside as well as an FM radio. Sliding open the phone reveals a 12 key keypad for number / text entry. Memory can be expanded via a microSD card up to 16GB.
